I am a London-based ceramic artist.
The main intention of my work is to encourage my audience to focus on what sets us apart as humans to stay resilient in the face of increasing environmental and technological threat.
Ceramic art has a power to convey meaning, enhanced by its three-dimensional quality - the physicality and presence of clay engages the viewer on a visceral and instinctive level. Clay connects us to the earth and to our history.
My potter’s mark is an ammonite. It not only represents my focus on materiality – particularly stone and bone - but also embodies how the beauty of our past should inform our future.
